Stfrances Cabrini School campus is located in a quiet residential section of Alexandria. We strive to live out our mission of providing a “sharing, feeling, caring” Catholic environment. Cabrini students are becoming empowered citizens of our global society where we will further Christ’s mission with vision, compassion, and zeal. In addition, we promote excellence in all areas of the curriculum from the basics to extra curricula activities. The creativity and unique talents of our students are enhanced through such activities as art, piano, computer, and P.E. classes; sports program; student council projects; special celebrations, contests, assemblies, and programs. We are committed to building each child’s self-esteem by developing wholesome attitudes and positive self-image. A Mass of Christian Burial for Sam "Spike" DiStefano will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Rev. Jose Robles-Sanchez and Msgr. Ronald Hoppe officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball under the direction of John Kramer & Son. "CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES IN WOMEN": 1 p.m., Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Building 8 Auditorium, Pineville. In support of American Heart Month, the Alexandria VAMC is sponsoring an educational program with guest speaker Dr. Romel Wrenn. The program is open to the public at no charge.
