School Notes Overview: |
ALA has been in existence locally for 20 years. We serve children in grades Kindergarten through High School. By admitting only 50 students per year, our classrooms have very low teacher to student ratios. Our curriculum is customized around each child, encouraging success, then building and growing on that success. Additionally, we schedule numerous educational field trips, believing they add great value beyond a traditional classroom education. ...read more

- Accelerated Learning Academy's staff come from various backgrounds including teaching, music, geriatrics, and speech and language pathology. Not all staff come with California teaching credentials. However, the entire staff carry in their hearts a desire to instill in students the fervent yearning for success; that unquenchable thirst for victory brought about by diligent, consistent, goal-oriented work. The staff do not come to work to fulfill their own needs, but rather the needs of the children.
The Academy is not for every student. In fact, it is suited for only a certain percentage of children that thrive well in an intense, personal, and challenging environment. As long as there is a need for this form of education and God graces us with His blessings, we shall remain diligent in our efforts to serve families with exceptional children.
