Trinity Episcopal School was in need of new microscopes: some of them were missing reflective mirrors and lights, others were old and outdated and sometimes, students would have to hold their microscopes close to a window because they didn't have enough light to see the objects.

The Bastrop High School French Club faced great disappointment when the travel company that brokered their trip to France declared bankruptcy, taking the students funds and hope of a long-anticipated trip. Another travel company, however, stepped in and offered the youths a new opportunity to achieve their goal.
