Catherine McAuley High School offers young women of Maine and International students an opportunity to engage in a rigorous, comprehensive, college-preparatory program in liberal studies. Catherine McAuley High School is accredited by the New England Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges, and the State of Maine Department of Education. Catherine McAuley High School provides an added dimension to a rigorous academic program. Here the formation of character is valued as highly as intellectual achievement. In keeping with the tradition of the Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley students are constantly challenged to think of others and to reach out to those in need.
