- The Christian Faith is naturally at the heart of our school, however we do not discriminate and welcome all denominations to the school under the shared beliefs of respect, honesty and compassion. While academic work and nurturing personal achievements is the most important role for our teachers, the pastoral care of our students is extremely important to us all. All of our dedicated and caring teachers and staff are always ready to look beyond the education requirements of our students to the spiritual and emotional. From the very first step a student takes into Holy Cross School, our teachers and staff are there to help guide them, and enable and encourage them to grow as individuals. Through the teaching of religious studies and prayer, students are introduced to particular topics and given the opportunity to discuss the 'real world' situations with their teachers and peers. It is through these teachings and assistance that our students learn and grow academically, emotionally and in maturity.
