Abingdon Montessori School

5144 Massachusetts Ave, Bethesda, MD, 20816-0208
Abingdon Montessori School began in 1970, and is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education. At Abingdon, we try to combine the wisdom of Dr. Montessori’s theories of human development with a recognition of the qualitative and quantitative realities of the contemporary child’s world. We are devoted to the Montessori method but are not bound to it. We are open to and eager to apply new concepts that complement the Montessori curriculum.
