Lots of children read about Anne Frank. This is like meeting her. That's how Kathy Swekel, executive director of the Children's Theatre of Annapolis, summed up a series of talks by a Holocaust survivor that will accompany the troupe's season-opening show next month.
St. Martin's Concert (The Capital)

St. Martin's Lutheran Church will sponsor a concert at 3 p.m. May 3 at the church, 1120 Spa Road. The concert features music by Buxtehude, Chopin, and Mendelssohn and will be performed by soprano Dawn Frederick, Ann Kovarik on trumpet, pianist Erik Apland, and organist Donna Ervin.
