The mission of MSCS is to promote Catholic faith and intellectual development in our students. We do this by teaching and modeling the precepts of the Catholic faith, as well as challenging our students with a rigorous course of study. We do this so they will use their faith, knowledge and skills to shape their futures positively and benefit society.
Monsignor Slade offers a variety of extra-curricular activities. The sports program includes: soccer, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, and cheerleading.
There are many clubs available to address the interest of students, which may include: art, literary, chess, computer, running, science, yearbook, and rosary guild. An active Scouts program for boys and girls is also available.
Monsignor Slade is home to some award-winning bands! The band program consists of flutophone class, beginner band, concert band and symphonic band, all of which practice and rehearse on-site and participate in yearly concerts. The concert and symphonic bands attend a competition at the end of the year, and have won 'superior' ratings for many years!
Our amazingly talented music teacher/director works with students to prepare special performances for parents. The youngest performers entertain their audiences for Grandparents Day, as well as a Christmas pageant. Intermediate level students may join the chorus, while middle school students have the opportunity to be in the spring musical. The shows are of such high quality, spectators are in awe.
We invite you to come and tour our school while in session, to see the high quality academic program and wonderful, supportive environment that is available for your child. Call to schedule a tour with our Director of Admissions today!

School Reviews

Monsignor Slade is an exceptional school with lots of opportunities for the students. My children have graduated well prepared for high school and beyond. The teachers are caring and supportive, and the new administration is doing well to show their love of the students and the importance of the Catholic faith, as well as their commitment to academics and technology. We wouldn''t want our children anywhere else!

Amazing school with wonderful opportunities for their students! Bands, music, physical education, art class, huge library, sports teams, award winning Home and School Association along with loving teachers who challenge students to be and do their best! Best (and most important) investment I have ever made.
