As a parent-cooperative school, parents work with the teacher, guiding their children, watching them grow socially and academically. Our school is proud to have a teacher with a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, a Teacher Assistant and a Helping Parent in every classroom. Magothy Cooperative Preschool has two large classrooms seperated into learning centers, including: math, science, writing, language arts, puzzle, dramatic play, blocks, practical life, art, library, and circle time. As part of and in an effort to enhance the curriculum at Magothy, we also offer extracurricular activities including monthly field trips that reinforce and build upon our themes and experiences, as well as other social events and guest speakers.
