Mount Calvary Catholic School

6704 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD, 20747-0207
The administration, faculty, and staff of Mount Calvary Catholic School continues the "Tradition of Excellence" for the students we serve by providing spiritual guidance and a challenging academic curriculum that places a high priority on self-discipline, studious behavior, and the art of life-time learning.  The emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and the use of the Archdiocese of Washington Curriculum Standards ensures strong preparation for each subsequent learning level as well as the high school experience and beyond. Our Catholic faith is a way of life at Mount Calvary Catholic School.  The spiritual and moral development of each child is the primary responsibility of the parents through the active participation of families in parish/church life.  This faith journey is strengthened through formal daily religious instruction in the school.  The life of this school therefore centers upon the student and faculty participation in Eucharistic liturgies, seasonal para-liturgical services, and other forms of prayer.  We express respect for God in all we say and do, we demonstrate reverence for God by keeping the Sabbath holy, and we honor God by educating our students in harmony with the Gospel message.
