School Notes

  • Radcliffe Creek School serves bright students who learn differently. With an average class size of just five students, we take great pride in providing individualized education. Students learn to leverage their strengths and grow in a nurturing yet rigorous environment.
  • Our curriculum is most often described as "active learning" which could be as simple as tossing water balloons to learn about physics concepts to rhyming sounds drawn in chalk on the playground to learn about phonetics. All aspects of Radcliffe's curriculum are taught in ways that incorporate the visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile senses of each student, focusing on their strengths rather than their weaknesses with the purpose of teaching them how to learn using multiple senses.

We absolutely love RCS! Our son needs an academically challenging environment but also social pragmatics with in a safe and caring community to help with his anxiety. Radcliffe fits the bill perfectly. He loves school now and doesn't complain about the bus ride from Annapolis as a result. This is how school should be. We are so grateful for RCS!

We are blessed we found Radcliffe Creek School. They are amazing, address all of my sons learning disabilities, sensory impairments and social skills. The low student/teacher ratio is great. They use Ortin Gillingham learning modules which our developmental pediatrician had recommended and has helped him progress so much. They have such a positive attitude and are so encouraging for their students. We highly recommend RCS!
