School Notes Overview: |
St. Pius X School was founded in 1962 as a co-educational parish school and designated a regional school in 1990. Re-named the St. Pius X Regional School, it serves the registered, practicing, and contributing parishioners of Ascension, Sacred Heart, St. Edward's and St. Pius X Parishes. The philosophy of St. Pius X Regional School is based on the principle, that each child is a unique individual striving to develop spiritually, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and socially. The faculty believes their purpose is to help instill in each child the desire to learn, to explore and to further his or her relationship with God and others. The mission of St. Pius X Regional School is to create a learning environment that gives the children the maximum opportunity for the development of their unlimited, God-given talents and gifts. The building of faith, values, service and academic excellence is clearly the cornerstone of the curriculum and the school community.
