Chelsea School

711 Pershing Dr, Silver Spring, MD, 20910-0209
At Chelsea School, we shatter the stigma of learning disabilities and prepare our students for a lifetime of intellectual exploration, personal growth and social responsibility. We nurture, encourage and challenge them because we have greater expectations. Chelsea School’s mission is to take bright children who have repeatedly failed in their efforts to learn to read and write, and teach them tools and strategies to ensure their success. Because our students have language-based learning disabilities, we strongly focus on teaching reading and language arts. Our phonics-based reading program is systematic, sequential, multi-sensory and creative.
