Our small class sizes and low student-teacher ratio allow for personalized attention from Advent faculty.
Students and teachers explore concepts together in our inquiry-based classrooms: asking questions, testing hypotheses and gathering information to construct understanding.
The Advent School is a co-educational independent school for students age four through Sixth Grade with outstanding academics, small class sizes, and an emphasis on diversity and social justice. Our co-teacher model allows our faculty to work closely with students in small groups, and also model the collaboration we encourage among students during long-term investigations. In addition to the thematic curriculum at each grade level, Advent students have classes in art, library, music, physical education, science, Spanish and yoga embedded into their weekly routine.
The Advent School offers a robust After-School Education Program for students including classes in visual arts, dance, world languages, music, physical fitness, and science.
