  • Facility: Brockton Christian School is located in the Campello section of Brockton, near the West Bridgewater town line. The school occupies the former Keith estate, which has been expanded to include ten classrooms, school offices, and a library. In addition, we make use of the adjoining church facility.
  • Class Size: Ten full-time teachers and five part time teachers currently serve the student body of over 120. Class size is small, with a maximum of 11 students in the PreK class, 22 students per class in grades K – 3, and 25 per class in grades 4 – 8.
  • Student Body: BCS admits students of any race, color, ethnic, or national origin. All the rights, privileges, programs and activities are made available to students of the school. BCS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin. BCS celebrates and encourages a diverse student body.
  • Fifty percent of students are of African American background while the remaining students are of Caucasian, Asian, or Hispanic backgrounds. Sixty percent of the students reside in the city of Brockton while the remaining students live in 14 local communities, including Randolph, Stoughton, Easton, West Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, Middleboro, and Carver.
  • Faculty: All staff members are committed, born-again believers who are members of evangelical churches. Teachers are expected to maintain state or ACSI certification, and are encouraged to pursue continuing education and advanced degrees. Teachers are Christian role models, and work together as a team to encourage students to reach their full potential in Christ.
  • School Program: Brockton Christian School strives to provide a creative learning environment in a traditional setting. All standard academic subjects are taught within the classroom. The Bible is taught daily using the Scriptures as the final source of authority in daily life. Students in grades K – 8 participate in weekly classes of Art, Music, and Physical Education.
  • Extra-Curricular Programs: The Middle School students (grades 6 – 8) have the opportunity to participate in such activities as soccer, Service Club, chapel helpers and Yearbook staff. Participation is voluntary, and dependent upon academic as well as behavioral standing.
  • Academic Opportunities: Each year, students in grades 6 – 8 participate in an all-school Science Fair. An Honor Roll is published each quarter for grades 4 – 8. Computers are in most classrooms, with internet access in grades 4 – 8, and word processing and educational programs in others.
  • Spiritual Life: All students participate in daily class devotions and prayer. Each year, the entire school concentrates on a scriptural theme for the year, allowing for character development and spiritual growth. We use themes, such as “Good Character Shines Through”, concentrating on traits such as integrity, self discipline, and honesty. A student led chapel is held weekly for the entire school.
