This is why we at Apple Tree Elementary offer Kindergarten and First Grade classes. We believe that if the focus is on initially building a strong base, then all subsequent education will fall into place. Thus, our classes are small to promote close teacher-student relationships and guarantee the individual attention that each child deserves. We believe that feelings of self-worth enhance a child's capacity for learning. Therefore, the well adjusted child will be more receptive for academics. Our goal is to prepare your children for the elementary school system, both public and private. Academics, though necessary and important, must be taught with care and foresight. Too much academics can over-qualify the child for school causing boredom and lack of interest in later years.
