Timothy McElhinney was named to the dean's list at UMass Lowell for the 2009 spring semester. McElhinney will enter his junior year in the fall. He is majoring in criminal justice and psychology. He is the son of Kevin and Deborah McElhinney of Methuen.

There's a much more scenic way to get from Bartlett Street to Rte. 20, though you have to be on foot to take in the views along the 1.7-mile Stirrup Brook Trail.
