Sacred Heart School is a K-8 Christian day school founded in 1923. It is a Catholic, inter parochial school of the Diocese of Worcester and is sponsored by Sacred Heart Parish of Gardner, Massachusetts. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Sacred Heart School offers a great start academically, but also promotes the formation of values, attitudes, and discipline that reflect a Christian way of life. There is an atmosphere of caring, understanding, and family. As part of our complete school program, we also offer a Pre-School day care center, a Before School program, and an After School program, servicing those families in which both parents work. We at Sacred Heart School, in partnership with the Church Community and parents, provide our students with the religious and academic training to ensure their success as Catholics and citizens in our society. Our curriculum stresses the importance of academic achievement while celebrating the unique God given talents and abilities of each individual. We put faith into education. We nurture our students to have confidence, to explore, and question the world around them. We challenge them to love, respect, and honor others as Jesus taught.
