School Notes Overview: |
The mission of Saint Brigid School is deeply rooted in its philosophy which embraces excellence of education and a firm belief in the uniqueness of each individual as being called into rational life by God the Father. Inspired by its tradition of faith and family, Saint Brigid School, a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Boston, has as its main purpose, to meet the spiritual, academic, physical and social needs of individual students and to provide a learning environment which is both stimulating and supportive. We concentrate on basic skills development in the major areas of a sequentially developed curriculum as well as helping to foster a growing awareness of our Catholic faith. Through the teaching of gospel values, a sound curriculum based on traditional and research-based methods, and consistent behavioral expectations, we encourage the development and growth of self-esteem. We attempt to develop within our students the necessary skills and knowledge to become life-long learners and effective, contributing members of society. ...read more
