    “The Glass Menagerie” — 7 p.m. Baptist Christian School will open Tennessee Williams’ “The Glass Menagerie” today. Additional show times are at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, and Sept. 26. Tickets cost $6 in advance and $7 at the door.

    Courtesy art TALENTED: Bethany Lomas, a 2005 graduate of Baptist Christian School in Hemet, won several awards, including Best Film and Best Directing, for her senior film project at the Vanguard Film Festival on May 1. Lomas is a student at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa.

  • Amelia Earhart story flies into San Jacinto (The Press-Enterprise)

    The life and legacy of the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean will come to life in a musical set to open Friday at Mt. San Jacinto College. "The Amelia Earhart Story" is written and directed by former MSJC student Michael Tennant. He is a theater and music teacher at Baptist Christian School in Hemet, where the musical debuted in 2007.
