Peace Lutheran School has as its purpose, to give a Christian education to as many children as possible and therefore is anxious to offer the educational program of its Christian Day School to all of the parents who desire a Christ-centered education for their children. However, staff and building capacity limit the number of students that can be enrolled. Peace Lutheran School holds accreditation status from the National Lutheran School Accreditation Association. The school is also accredited by the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools. Peace Lutheran School is a state-approved educational institution, operating within the framework of the Michigan State law, and is under the jurisdiction of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod as well as the State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Peace Lutheran School is administered according to the State of Michigan's required standards of elementary education.
