Living Word Academy is an extension of the Christian home and an arm of Living Word Lutheran Church. The school is another means by which to permeate all of life with the truth of GOD. Living Word Academy offers young children a Christian setting in which to develop physically, spiritually, intellectually, and socially, so that from their early years each child may prepare for the role in life that best serves god. The development of Christian character in each student by providing Christian teachers, who know and love the lord, to guide and nurture children in an understanding of the Love and Truth of GOD and His universe, and to an assurance of personal salvation through jesus christ, god's only begotten Son. This is accomplished through: Living Word Academy began in the fall of 1987. It began with a vision of providing a Biblical and academic education, that would give children the foundation they need to live a faithful and productive life in love and service to the LORD and to other people. The Academy began with five students and one volunteer teacher. It began in the faith that every child is loved by the Lord our God, and that it is the calling and mission of the Christian Church to pass on to the next generation the great truths of the love and righteousness of God, revealed in Jesus Christ. ...
