- Heritage Christian Aacademy, located on a beautiful new campus in Maple Grove, is in its 25th year serving the Twin Cities. The school has been a member of the ACSI, an international education association that is officially recognized in the state of Minnesota, since 1983. The elementary school offers strong core curriculum academics in a stimulating, loving environment while providing many opportunities for enrichment. The secondary school, grades 6-12, offers a challenging, college-preparatory curriculum while maintaining high biblical standards for truth and character development. Electives are available in the areas of foreign language, computer, science and math, literature, and music and art. Post Secondary Enrollment Options are also available. A Christian worldview permeates all subject areas.
Opportunities for community and Christian service abound in the forms of scheduled service projects as well as Missions Trips. Educational tours and field trips promoting Christian, patriotic and educational values are also included.
Students are encouraged to demonstrate and exercise leadership in the areas of Student Government and Athletics. Heritage Christian Academy is a member of the MN State High School League, as well as the Minnesota Christian Athletic Association.
Central to the mission of HCA is its support of the Christian famiily, which is largely reflected in the high level of parental involvement. Volunteer opportunities for parents include field trip supervision, meal service, classroom assitance, playground supervision, office help, etc.
