School Notes Overview: |
Sacred Heart Catholic School exists to promote faith in Jesus Christ, to educate youth, and to minister to all. Each child is unique, good, and a special creation of God. It is this child, the cherished responsibility of the family, who is in our care. We strive to surround each student with the strength of the Catholic Church's Faith and tradition. and the power of Prayer. We, the personnel, school board, and parents, believe that each child has wonderful potential and promise for the greater glory of the Kingdom of God. Our task, as Catechists, is to nurture and challenge all learners to achieve this potential in body, heart, mind, and soul: a firm, loving faith in God and His Church. Sacred Heart strives to meet the comprehensive goals for education which include helping students to be purposeful thinkers, effective communicators, self-directed learners, productive group participants and citizens who are responsible and responsive to the needs of society. We come together as a spiritual and an educational community; a Christian family founded upon the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a community, we are committed to provide these educational experiences in a climate of trust, respect, courtesy, and enjoyment, enlivened by the gospel spirit of freedom, love, service and charity. ...read more
