Bounthavy Khamratthanome and Sarah Olson, teachers in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage district, will be honored as 2009 TIES Exceptional Teachers. The award recognizes teachers for using technology in the classroom to engage learning. Khamratthanome is a science specialist at Sioux Trail Elementary in Burnsville, and Olson is a special education teacher at Metcalf Junior High School in Burnsville.
