The school builds off of a long-standing tradition of quality Christian education for the Mankato area. Risen Savior is supported bySt. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Churchin Mankato andSt. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Churchin North Mankato. St. Mark operated St. Mark Lutheran School for thirty years, and St. Paul's has operated the Jesus Loves Me Learning Center. The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) has a long tradition of providing quality Christian education and Risen Savior continues in this tradition. Risen Savior is accredited by WELSSA (Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran SynodSchool Accreditation).
