There were many outstanding performances that merited consideration for the coveted Press Register Player of the Week award. Cedric Blue of Coahoma County High School could’ve notched his fifth award after rushing for 244 yards against Broad Street. He also ran 65 yards for a score and threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Adrian Hunter. - Homecoming for CCHS (The Clarksdale Press Register)

Coahoma County (6-3, 2-0) will celebrate its Homecoming Friday at Crumpton Field with a MHSAA Class AA District 4 game against Shelby Broad Street (5-2, 2-0).
