Tonight, three games will pit six area teams against each other. Headlining the night will be Broad Street (5-3) at West Bolivar (9-0) for the Eagles’ homecoming in Rosedale. Shaw 16, Drew 14 The Shaw High Hawks edged out the Drew High Eagles in Region 2-1A action in Drew Friday night. Shaw pushed its record to 4-3 with a 3-2 mark in the region while Drew fell to 1-6 with a 1-4 mark in the region. - 5 homecomings on tonight’s slate (The Bolivar Commercial)

The cream is starting to rise to the top in area high school football as teams move into region play. Several teams have been on a serious hot streak but none hotter than the West Bolivar Eagles who are 7-0 on the year.
