    Jakob Eck, 11, of St. Joseph Catholic School, represented Sedgwick County in regional spelling bee competition Feb. 28 in Great Bend. His winning word was "schnitzel." Second place went to Austin Hoheisel, 14, of Garden Plain Elementary, and third place went to Spencer Kaba, 12, from Holy Spirit Catholic School in Goddard.
