School Notes Overview: |
Trinity Episcopal Day School’s philosophy is rooted in three assumptions that are collectively held by our community: the assertion that Christ should be the model for all that we strive to accomplish; an affirmation of holistic learning, which is geared toward solving real-world problems; and a deep regard for integrity predicated on Christian ethics and social responsibility. We believe that Trinity Episcopal Day School should: cultivate a deep regard for integrity predicated on Christian ethics, and on personal and social responsibility; provide instruction that addresses duty to God and country; cultivate honorable behavior and personal integrity by setting high moral standards in and out of the classroom; teach students to accept responsibility for the choices they make; develop students intellectually, physically, creatively, emotionally, ethically, and spiritually; provide a challenging college preparatory curriculum, which promotes critical and creative thinking through real-world problem solving; cultivate a spirit of motivation, which will promote self-esteem and self-reliance, by providing opportunities for students to realize their potential for making a positive difference in the world; promote a willingness to render services without recompense in order to help develop compassion, responsibility, and concern; and strive to create a positive environment that encourages caring for each other. The mission of Trinity Episcopal Day School is to prepare our students to succeed in college and in life. ...read more
