Chaminade College Preparatory School is an independent Catholic school for young men for grades six through twelve.
Chaminade's rigorous academic program begins with our Pre-AP Middle School curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking in all subjects.  Chaminade offers 23 AP classes and more than 60 Advanced College Credit classes for high school students, more than any other school in the St. Louis area.  74% of seniors in the Class of 2013 earned college credit.  Chaminade's emphasis on Character Development includes our House System which provides leadership and relationship building, our Experiential Education trips which expose our young men to their world, as well as our Retreats and Service.  Chaminade students learn to live remarkably through various activites, clubs and sports. We are a school that specializes in teaching young men, giving them the educational and moral foundation they take with them for life.  We are CHAMINADE.

Chaminade College Preparatory School is an independent Catholic school for young men in grades six through twelve. Students of superior and above average ability can expect to be successful at Chaminade. In addition to offering 23 Advanced Placement courses for college credit, an additional 60 courses are available for college credit sponsored by University of Missouri-St. Louis and St. Louis University.  Over 150 students participate in our award-winning band program, and almost 80% participate in our athletic program with recent top five state finishes in soccer, cross country, swimming, basketball, hockey, bowling, golf, tennis and volleyball. 81% of our seniors receiving merit scholarships. Chaminade is located on a beautiful 55-acre campus in suburban St. Louis.  Our new, state-of-the-art Viragh Center for the Arts is one of the best auditoriums in the St. Louis area. Chaminade's campus is easily accessible to the St. Louis metro area, and is only ten minutes away from St. Louis International Airport. Over $1.6 million in need-based tuition assistance was offered to our students for the 2013-2014 school year. Chaminade offers an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) program for international students wanting to improve their English skills. Students may enter Chaminade at the beginning of a semester (mid-August and early January); families moving to the St. Louis area can enter at other times of the year.
