Establihed in 1834, Edgewood Children's Center is located on a historic 23-acre campus in Webster Groves in suburban St. Louis County.  Edgewood offers three unique school programs for non-traditional learners. 
  • The Hitchcock School offers an individualized educational program with direct social skills instruction for students with wide  range of disabilities, including Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder and other attentional and/or emotional deficits. 
  • The Edgewood School provides intense academic and therapeutic supports throughout every aspect of the school day.  The predominate educational diagnosis is one of Emotional Disturbance.  However, additional diagnoses served include: Other Health Impaired, Speech and Language,and  Intellectual Deficiency. 
  • The Childhaven program provides intensive educational and therapeutic supports for children on the Autism Spectrum or with other communication disabilities. 
  • Related services and sensory integration are offered for identified students within all three school programs.
