St Ambrose is a Catholic elementary school located in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. We were founded in the year 1906, two years after the founding of our parish. We are located in the southwest section of the Gateway city in a very historic section called "The Hill". Our traditions are strongly Italian due to the settling of the Italian immigrants in this area. Saint Ambrose Catholic School is a parish, elementary school whose mission is to serve the spiritual, academic, and personal needs of children and their families. We provide a quality education by fostering creativity, divergent thinking and the skills needed to meet the challenges of a changing world.
