Next fall, four seventh graders will become the first eighth-grade class at Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Columbia. Despite a recession that has shrunk businesses, Columbia’s Good Shepherd Lutheran School is expanding. The school will serve eighth-graders starting in the 2009-10 school year, creating one or two part-time positions for the school. The school now offers kindergarten through seventh grade.
