Whitfield School's rigorous academic program challenges students while teaching them to work both independently and collaboratively. The demanding academic program and the support of a dedicated faculty prepare graduates for college and life beyond. Students and teachers utilize the one-to-one laptop program to engage in authentic, modern learning experiences that enhance students' reading, thinking and writing skills. With an average class size of 12 and a School size of 440 students in grades 6–12, Whitfield seeks to develop and maintain a safe community that values mutual respect and personal responsibility.
