Whitfield School's rigorous academic program challenges students while teaching them to work both independently and collaboratively. The demanding academic program and the support of a dedicated faculty prepare graduates for college and life beyond. Students and teachers utilize the one-to-one laptop program to engage in authentic, modern learning experiences that enhance students' reading, thinking and writing skills. With an average class size of 12 and a School size of 440 students in grades 6–12, Whitfield seeks to develop and maintain a safe community that values mutual respect and personal responsibility. Students are encouraged to take part in activities that include visual and performing arts, community service, and 42 athletic teams, clubs, and organizations. Tuition: $20,800.
