Heritage Christian School
School Notes Overview:
Heritage Christian School was founded in 1982 by a group of caring parents who felt strongly that the people of Gallatin Valley should have a Christian educational alternative for their children. The school began its ministry with Kindergarten through sixth grade. In 1986, Heritage grew and purchased the initial building and three much-needed acres at its current location. The rationale for the existence of Heritage Christian School is to assist parents, as an extension of the Christian home, in providing an education that is thoroughly and distinctively Christian, challenging each student to grow in Christ-likeness. It is our goal through teaching and training to prepare young people to function as individuals who can reason and relate all issues of life to the doctrinal foundation of the Christian faith. In all aspects of its program, Heritage Christian School seeks to do the following Encourage every child to begin and develop a relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ, Provide a clear model of the biblical Christian life by our leadership and staff, Teach all subjects as part of an integrated whole with the scriptures at the center, Maintain high academic standards for each student with the expectation that all can succeed, Provide an orderly atmosphere conducive to the attainment of the above goals. Our philosophy is to create a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and develop by providing a Christian-based curriculum implemented through a variety of learning centers. Our mission is to offer a loving, nurturing Christian environment for children to learn and grow....
