Monadnock Waldorf School
School Notes Overview:
Monadnock Waldorf School offers classes from Preschool through Eighth Grade. Our programs for young children are thoughtfully designed to support your child's healthy development. Songs, stories, crafts, snack, and indoor and outdoor play are woven into a comforting rhythm. The young child learns by imitation. A Waldorf school day is full of healthy and creative opportunities for the young child to imitate through story, song, circle games, and many side-by-side activities with teachers. The Waldorf curriculum for the grades balances academics and arts. From number songs and letter stories in the first grade to chemistry experiments and Shakespeare productions in the eighth grade, students develop attitudes that will serve them throughout life: love of learning, satisfaction with true achievement, courage to question, and an active interest in and concern for others....
