Mountain View Montessori serves children ages 3 to 9 years old. In order to register in the preschool program, your child must be at least 2 years and 9 months old and toilet independent. The Kindergarten program has a requirement of full time morning attendance with a recommendation of continued afternoon attendance. The Primary program is for children first through third grade. Space in each classroom is limited, so those who have previously attended MVM are given priority. Mountain View Montessori School is dedicated to this concept. The directresses will introduce your child to educational materials which foster the desire to learn. They offer guidance to ensure choices remain challenging, not frustrating. The child's lead is trusted and individuality is respected. Children choose the academic areas they wish to work in, and use materials as long as they need to in order to gain the most thorough conceptual understanding possible. They are able to progress as quickly as their abilities and imagination allow.
