Michael Saltarelli , a former pastor of Our Lady of Assumption Church who had been bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, Delaware for more than a dozen years, died from cancer today at 1:30 a.m., according to diocese spokesman Bob Krebs.

The Most Rev. Michael Saltarelli, a Jersey City native who had been bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, Delaware for 12 years, died from cancer today at 1:30 a.m., according to diocese spokesman Bob Krebs . He was 77.
