"Homes and Homelessness" was the theme for this year's GPD, which was the culminating celebration of exploration and service throughout all three divisions. During the course of the 2011-2012 academic year, students embraced opportunities to learn and serve in various projects that integrated seamlessly into the curriculum. The full-day event program for GPD included reflective discussions, hands-on activities and guest speakers -- all of whom have experienced homelessness. In addition, the Kent Place students who participated in the Global Service Learning Initiative trips engaged each division in a panel discussion to share their unique experiences. The day concluded with an all-school assembly in the Field House where a student-created installation -- design inspired by Nancy G. Dougherty '82 of the Short Hills architecture firm, Studio 1200 -- was unveiled to the community.")
June 01,2012 - i attend kent place and just to say youll have the time of you life there is a dress code but it has choices of colored shirts and skirts as for high school there are no dress uniforms. Kent Place is a very fun yet educational. I highly reccomend it.*-Posted by Student/Alumni *
