The Red Oaks School

The mission of The Red Oaks School is to lay the foundation for students to be engaged global citizens equipped with 21st century skills. The learning environment is dynamic, progressive, and embraces best practice in education. Our focus is on nurturing development of the whole child as we promote self-confidence, academic achievement, and a love of learning. Rooted in Montessori principles and enhanced by current validated research, the educational approach features mixed age classes, low student teacher ratios (9:1), and a child-centered curriculum that allows students to learn deeply and at their own pace. Core values of respect, dignity, and social awareness are actively fostered. Artist- and scientist-in-residence programs, environmental projects, music, drama, and technology enhance the program.
