School Notes Overview: |
As a private, not-for-profit, state approved school, Montgomery Academy was founded to serve students from five to twenty-one years of age. These are students who are selected by their school districts as having social, emotional and educational difficulties that cannot be remedied within their local or regional communities. They require a specialized school environment geared to their needs. We are committed to providing a program that prepares students to return to their home districts or other appropriate less restrictive programming. To do this, an integrated curriculum, encompassing active learning, skill application and conceptual development is united within a therapeutic, supportive and nurturing environment. ...read more
