Our Lady Queen of Peace school in northern New Jersey is a Catholic, parochial, elementary school imbued with the tradition of St. Francis and the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Our-purpose is to educate the whole child: spiritually, academically, emotionally, physically, and socially, helping the child to become fully the person God intended him/her to be. We are committed to developing the student's understanding of Jesus' great commandment: love of God and love of neighbor. Through our lifestyle and example, we strive to be instruments of peace and justice with all of God's people. The start of the 2009-10 school year got off to a great start at Our Lady Queen of Peace School in Hewitt. Prncipal Eugene Hewitt, Fr. Adam Muda and Fr. Fred Walter say a prayer with the students at the beginning of the day. Pictured above, Fr.
