By serving a diverse community that values a rigorous, wide-ranging program of study, Ranney students are inspired to reach their full potential. Guided by dedicated and compassionate professionals, the Ranney experience is distinguished by the heartfelt bond between student and teacher — the hallowed principle celebrating the unique nature of every child. In an environment with contemporary learning resources, students learn the value of contributing to their local and global communities through leadership and service. The school’s motto — Knowledge, Vision, Honor — is as much an inspiration as it is a social imperative, one that informs the thinking and actions of our students. Awakening students’ intellectual potential and encouraging them to communicate with confidence in their own unique voice remains fundamental to the Ranney experience. The ultimate success of our students is the result of a simple yet powerful mission-promise…every child will be known and valued.

Here are a dozen or so girls' schools' public thoughts about themselves and their missions.

!["Hereafter" Musical Sampler Soundtrack Available On Itunes: ax.itunes.apple.com One of the highlights at our Ranney School concert this past December was Ilene Grossman's performance of "Take My Life" with Frankie Keane's vocal arrangements, Scoop Slone's back up and Bill Hindin on piano. While the arrangement for this number is for a full band set up, I think this simple piano/ vocal performance rivals the studio version as my favorite. The setting for Hereafter is a group reading at the home of world renowned medium Jason Richards. Four people and the spirits they are trying to make contact with have unknowingly been brought together one fateful afternoon. The spirits and the living, all stuck and at a crossroads, are desperate to make contact with their loved ones one last time. For more information go to: www.hereaftermusical.com Hereafter is written by Vinnie Favale & Frankie Keane * Music & Lyrics by: Vinnie Favale * Vocal Arrangements by: Frankie Keane * Music Consultant: Eric Garner * Music Director: William Hindin * Orchestrations: Dani Donadi.
