At Cherry Blossom Montessori School, Our educational programs encompass children from age 18 months to 12 years. We are a community of students, parents, and faculty defined by and committed to these pillars. It is evident in our curriculum, peace tables, discipline techniques, cultural activities and community involvement. Our goal is to develop social skills, emotional growth, physical coordination, as well as cognitive preparation. Academic progress is not our sole goal. Our aim is that we encourage development of internal skills of self-esteem, self-motivation, and enthusiasm for learning, and feelings of being closely bonded to our community. It is our wish that our students respect each other and the environment and feel good about themselves. Our vision is of an educational system that serves a world that lives in peace; a global community based on interdependence and respect for all life and people.
