It is evident in our curriculum, peace tables, discipline techniques, cultural activities and community involvement.
Our goal is to develop social skills, emotional growth, physical coordination, as well as cognitive preparation.
Academic progress is not our sole goal.
Our aim is that we encourage development of internal skills of self-esteem, self-motivation, and enthusiasm for learning, and feelings of being closely bonded to our community.
It is our wish that our students respect each other and the environment and feel good about themselves.
Our vision is of an educational system that serves a world that lives in peace; a global community based on interdependence and respect for all life and people.
Montessori is a philosophy with the fundamental tenet that a child learns best within a social environment which supports each individual's unique development and The mission of Raritan Valley Montessori is to inspire a passion for excellence, to nurture the curiosity, creativity, and imagination born within us all, and to awaken the human spirit.
