Our Solomon Schechter offers a bilingual education that emphasizes individualized instruction by certified teachers. Solomon Schechter Academy of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Howell, has renamed the school to Jersey Shore Jewish Academy. The change was made in keeping with the national trend of aligning Jewish day schools to reflect the communities they serve.

A Ladies Night Out for several local businesses will be held Oct. 19 from 7-9 p.m. at Studio 455, at 455 Route 9 south, Manalapan, in The Mart shopping center. The free event will feature raffle giveaways every 20 minutes in addition to door prizes and a wine tasting. Chocolates, cheese and fruit will also be served.
Schechter students honor presidents (News Transcript)

Students from Solomon Schechter Academy, Howell, recently held a program about all the presidents of the United States. Third- through sixth-grade members of the Village Students shared an accomplishment of each of the 44 presidents with the audience, under the direction of Bobbi Greenfield, language arts teacher.
