    St. Ann School PTA, Keansburg, will hold "A Night in Vegas" gift auction May 21 at the Lakeside Manor, Route 36, Hazlet. Doors will open 5:30 p.m., dinner is 7 p.m., and the basket drawings are at 8 p.m. Admission is $40 and includes dinner; a pre-sale value pack is $35 (valued at $45) if purchased before May 15. For reservations, call the school at 732-787-1027.
  • Kyrillos urges diocese to keep St. Joseph open (Independent)

    Sen. Joseph Kyrillos (R-13th District) is putting his support behind parents who want to keep a Catholic school operating in the Bayshore. Kyrillos Monday introduced a resolution in the Legislature, which urges the Diocese of Trenton to keep St. Joseph School in Keyport from closing its doors.
