St. Thomas the Apostle School, Route 18, Old Bridge, will hold open houses 9 a.m.- noon Aug. 22 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 23. Interested individuals are invited to tour the school and meet the faculty. Registration is going on for September classes. - Austin N. Reilly (Suburban)

Austin, age 7, of Old Bridge, died July 31, 2009, in the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He was a kindergarten student at St. Thomas the Apostle School, Old Bridge. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Howland, and by his paternal grandfather, Thomas F. Reilly. - Island getaway (MyCentralJersey.com)

St. Thomas the Apostle School, Old Bridge, will host its ninth annual golf classic at 8 a.m. May 18 at Bella Vista Country Club, Marlboro. The cost is $160 per person and includes continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf, golf contests and luncheon. Sponsors are needed. Reservations are required. Details: 732-290-2254.
