School Notes Overview: |
The Early Childhood Learning Center is a child-care facility operated by Temple B’nai Shalom, a non-profit corporation. The school is licensed by the State Department of Human Services, Divisions of Youth and Family Services. Our program is for children between the ages 2 ½ through 6. Our program is based on the philosophy that a school must meet the developmental needs of the child. We must provide a basic foundation for your child’s education. This program is geared to make your child’s experience with school a successful and happy one. Children will develop a good self-concept if they can succeed. Our Center provides many opportunities for success through self and teacher directed activities. Children this age must learn to work independently as well as cooperatively with the group. We will provide experiences for the children in the areas of language, social, emotional, cognitive, physical, creative and mental development. Our School is special because we maintain a low teacher/child ratio; our staff consists of qualified and knowledgeable teachers; all staff members are sensitive to the needs of the individual child; and we have a strong, caring community. ...read more
