Shepard High School

10 Columba Street, Morristown, NJ, 07960-0796
Shepard School mission is enhancement of educational and social functioning of each student with an eye toward successful reintegration into public school. This is achieved through a persistent system of positive reinforcement, feedback and support. Many Shepard students are returning to their home school district and performing well. Behavior modification is achieved by stressing the rewards of academic diligence and good conduct via a student ranking system with graduated privileges including athletic, other extracurricular, and community service activities. The Shepard Careers In Education program prepares students with social and employment skills needed for the world outside the classroom. Our students benefit from guidance counseling and a work-study program, which prepares them for life after high school. Our goal is for them to be productive citizens.
